Apple reveals the official date of WWDC 2020: it will be held on June 22, only online, so it can be followed by all 23 million developers. The company says it will be the largest WWDC ever. Are you ready to get to know iOS 14?
Apple had previously announced that WWDC 2020 this year would only take place online at an unspecified time in June. Now the company has released more information: the date to remember is June 22nd and it will be the day when iOS 14 , the new version of macOS, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14 will be presented .
The event as always is focused on the software but surprisingly some new devices such as the AirTag could also be revealed.
Starting June 22 , immediately after the WWDC Keynote that will be streamed live, developers will already be able to download the first beta version of iOS 14 . We will do the same and we will show you all the news in dedicated articles. It will be available for free to all developers via the Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer site. The company also presented the Swift Student Challenge, an opportunity for students to showcase their passion for coding by creating a Swift playground.
