Using Workflow, you will bring automation iOS: With a single tap, you can start a series of linked actions, the phone automatically doing work in your place, to achieve a desired result, without the slightest effort and spending a single second of your time.

Apple has just acquired the company and consequently the application has become Free in the App Store. Previously, it used to cost  $2.99  and was really worth it.

With this application you can do anything if you’re familiar with services like IFTTT on the Web, you’ll end up with a very similar software on your iPhone, can do more.

The Workflow operation is based on “workflow” or “actions” that we can create endless combinations. We can create a button that, when clicked, will open directly to our app preferred between Google Maps or Apple Maps and will lead automatically us to a predetermined address (such as Home or Work), we can convert a video into a GIF in a second, Meme create, search and download the lyrics of a song, take the latest photos on Google photos and upload them to Dropbox, tweet the song being played, translate an article, view the source code of a page, to interface to the App Store and play various actions, automatically load the last saved picture in the Camera Roll on a cloud service like Dropbox or the like, play a playlist, logging our body weight in your health or score as many coffee and how many glasses of water we drank in a day , create a PDF from a picture or a text file, and much (much) more.

The interface is simple: from a left side menu have various actions and we will be able to join them into a kind of flowchart, one below the other, in order to obtain the desired result.

Each workflow we create, can be invoked in several ways:

  • By means of a button in the application
  • Through extension of iOS (very useful in Safari, App Store and other native applications such as Photo. It works but also on third-party applications, such as YouTube)
  • Through a widget in Notification Center

The Widget is very practical, with a touch we open the browser to return home without having to enter the address, or we can share on social hear a song and so on.

It will be necessary definitely get familiar with this application because it has infinite possibilities, but once you understand well how it works, you can not live without. Among other things, Workflow won the Apple Design Award in 2015.
