Third-generation AirPods show up in new renders, while a Chinese leaker confirms Apple will hold an event on March 23.
A series of new leak renderings show a preview of the new design of AirPods 3 coming by the end of the month. Apple, in fact, could present them during the hypothetical event of 23 March or through a press release.
The renders were shared by Gizmochina , who claims to have received them from a supplier. The images depict AirPods with a shorter stem , similar to the Pro model, and a smaller charging case . The images are in line with a previous report from Bloomberg, which stated that the design of the third-generation AirPods would be similar to that of the Pro model.
However, renders should be taken with a grain of salt. The images were shared on Twitter by @ Duanrui1205, who has shared accurate information in the past.
Finally, just this week, Chinese leaker Kang confirmed that Apple is planning to hold its long-awaited spring event on March 23 .
During the event, the company is expected to unveil the long-awaited and rumored AirTags, third-generation AirPods and two iPad models, including one with a mini-LED display.
