Apple will continue to enjoy the “super cycle” of the iPhone 12 until the arrival of the new models.

According to a new analysis from investment firm Wedbush, the upgrade “super cycle” generated by the iPhone 12 models will last until the launch of the iPhone 2021 range.

Apple’s typical production cycle usually begins with high order levels before tapering off in the spring after the lucrative Christmas shopping season. However, the usual drop in production appears to be less than expected .

After the Chinese New Year, supply chain checks indicate that Apple is keeping iPhone 12 production at high levels. For the March quarter, Apple is estimated to produce between 56 and 62 million iPhones.

Though Wall Street predicts the company will produce around 220 million iPhones in 2021, Wedbush still believes Apple could do more. Based on the current trajectory, the company led by Tim Cook could produce 250 million iPhones by the end of the year .
