New CAD images of the iPhone 12 shared on Twitter confirm the new iPad Pro-style design.
A series of images of the alleged CAD of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro have been shared on Twitter, offering a further look at what the iPhone 2020 range might look like.
The mockups are similar to those that are usually seen in view of the announcement of new iPhones. These physical molds are often based on leaked patterns and are produced by third-party home manufacturers to develop cases for upcoming devices.
The design depicted in these images is consistent with the rumors that have leaked from the supply chain regarding upcoming iPhone models, with iPad Pro-style flat edges representing a significant design change.
The images show all four sizes of iPhones that Apple could release in 2020: a 5.4-inch iPhone 12, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro and a iPhone 12 Pro from 6.7 inches.
The Twitter user has also published numerous CAD renderings. The CAD images of iPhone not released shared online are generally presented as official projects leaked by the production factories, but often they are made by the same case makers to foresee the design of the new devices.
The designs closely reflect other leaks, confirming the configuration of the camera, which will be composed of three lenses + LiDAR scanner.
