Telegram has released a new update on the App Store that introduces a useful news related to the notifications: the exceptions.
The main rival platform of WhatsApp today reaches version 4.9.1 and introduces the “Exceptions”, that is the function that allows users to receive notifications only from some users/channels. As usual, the update is accompanied by a post on the blog of Telegram, which describes in detail the news.
To set exceptions, all you have to do is go to Settings → Exceptions (the entry has not yet been translated into Italian, ed). Here you will find all the chats with users or channels, and you can enable the following options:
- Default (Disabled)
- Enable
- Silence for 1 hour
- Silence for 2 days
- disable
- Change Sound (Notes)
