Apple may be about to launch a new partnership with Samsung . South Korean technology giant could indeed become the supplier of panels OLED for future devices of the California company.
According to a new report, Samsung is currently increasing its production capacity of OLED panels on the basis that an agreement with Apple was nearing . A source close to the parties argues that negotiation is proceeding quickly and that Samsung is completing the construction of a facility at which the panels will be produced to provide the company from Cupertino.
It is also interesting, as the report suggests, that the same Samsung is ready to embrace the OLED technology for its devices, coinciding with the decision to sell its facilities for the production of LCD in Cheonan.
Despite the number of smartphone manufacturers who have opted for the OLED technology is constantly increasing, the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said recently that Apple will not adopt this technology very soon .
