Apple has already updated the dedicated page of AirPlay (at least the English one) adding the news concerning the integration in TV.
- Control everything with a rap : Use the remote that you always have with you your iPhone. Built-in controls will appear in-apps, on the lock screen and on the control center. So you can simply put play, pause, go ahead, back and adjust the scroll of your TV
- Put Siri at the head of your TV : With AirPlay 2 and HomeKit, you can use Siri on your iPhone to send a video to your TV. Even better, ask Siri to play a specific show in a specific room.
- TV compatible with AirPlay 2. Now it’s smart : The major TV manufacturers will integrate AirPlay 2 directly into their TVs, so now you can effortlessly share or mirror almost anything from your iOS or Mac device directly to your AirPlay 2 enabled smart TV. You can also play music on your TV and sync it with other AirPlay 2 compatible speakers anywhere in your home.
Probably the support will also come to other brands producing Smart TV, but we will have to wait. We’ll see if anything new will come from the CES in Las Vegas.
