SAIP is the official application created by the French Ministry of the Interior that will alert the population in case of terrorist attacks.
The European Football Championship is a sporting event on which the whole of France feeds a lot of concern about the possibility of terrorist attacks. The government in addition to the now traditional activities carried out to counter the tremendous phenomenon, has decided to create and launch an application that is capable of sending alerts to all users in the event of possible terrorist attacks. The application in question launched by the Ministry of Interior is available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
SAIP (Système d’alerte et d’information des populations) is the name of the application allows you to know in case of a terrorist attack that kind of criticality occurs in a specific geographical area, provided that the geolocation on the device is turned on. Available in French and English, includes the warning and information to a set of instructions to follow depending on the nature of the message as well as giving way to the individual user to set up to eight geographic areas to control the presence of attacks.
The application could be very useful if not vital in the event of terrorist attacks during and even after the European Football Championships, the French Government thus offers an information tool more to the population and hopes will prove a useful system for the management of critical issues linked to attacks of terrorism.
