A Foxconn employee took new photos of the internal components of the iPhone 8 at the weekend and posted them on Weibo , China’s social network. Images confirm wireless and not just wireless support.
The images show an iPhone in the ” engineering validation test ” (EVT) phase with code-named “Ferrari”, identifier used for the smartphone already leaked in the past with documents originating from Apple vendor factories. As you can see, in the center of the smartphone is visible a “black spot”, that is the wireless reel.
Leaks on iPhone 8 are steadily growing. Thanks to the network leaked HomePod firmware we have confirmed the design of the device , the new Pearl ID system , the absence of the Touch ID below the display, wireless charging and more. The presentation event will almost certainly be in September, but to date it seems that too much has already been revealed.
