OnLeaks has released another rendering, this time showing Apple fans what the next iPad Pro models might look like.
According to rumors, Apple is working on 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models updated with iPhone-style triple-lens cameras and the alleged renderings of the new iPads have been shared by iGeeksblog and OnLeaks.
The new iPad Pro models are expected to be the same size as the iPad Pro 2018 models and, based on the renderings, the design will also be almost identical, except for a triple lens camera.
There have been some rumors indicating that Apple would release new PiPad Pro models in 2019, but this has not happened, and current information provided by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that the company plans to release an iPad update. Pro in the first half of 2020.
The new “iPad Pro” models could potentially be equipped with a time-of-flight (ToF) camera systemwhich should also be present on iPhones 2020. A time-of-flight camera system uses a laser to determine the distance between objects to create a 3D image of the surrounding area.
This type of technology could allow for more accurate depth perception, better augmented reality capabilities and perhaps photos with more advanced depth information.
If the time-of-flight camera is not available, the iPad Pro models could still obtain the same triple lens camera system present in the current models of iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, with telephoto, wide angle and ultra wide angle.
