Microsoft admitted the failure of Windows Phone and also its music streaming service. The company has decided to go back to focus on software and to handle a smaller number of things, but in a better way. For this reason, it can not fail to acknowledge the success and diffusion of Android and iOS platforms, resulting in the need to be present here as well.
By the end of the year, a pre-release version of the Edge browser will also be available on iPhone and Android.
As we know, on iOS, the browser will always use WebKit for the actual engine to be the same as Safari, but Microsoft can add more options, customize graphics and tab handling, but above all it can turn on timing and favorite synchronization, a factor that Windows users may appreciate a lot, a bit like Google does with Chrome for several years now.
Perhaps Microsoft has started to have the right approach to things. Having the money to do so many things does not necessarily mean doing them well.
