Apple has formalized the date of the September event, which will be held on the 12th, but the news of the moment is probably another. The colleagues of 9to5Mac have in fact unveiled the names of the two upcoming OLED smartphones of the company of Cupertino and, above all, they shared the first “stolen” image.

The image that we propose is leaked through the FCC and shows the new iPhone with a 5.8 “and 6.5” OLED display in a new Gold variant, not available for iPhone X. More details are yet to be determined, but colleagues from 9to5Mac ensure that iPhone XS will be the official name of the OLED model, which will, therefore, arrive in the two mentioned variants.

The leak confirms (although by now it was certain) that the design of the two smartphones with OLED display is not different from that of the iPhone X. Edge-to-edge display, classic arrangement of the side keys, and, even if the wallpaper tries to “Hide it”, notch on the top of the display.

The image reveals the new color Gold, and the particular wallpaper used shows the liveliness of the colors and the absolute black guaranteed by the OLED displays (the pixels are practically turned off, ed). What else can be obtained from the leak? Unfortunately, or fortunately, nothing else.

In addition to the two iPhone XS with OLED display, Apple will present on September 12 also an entry-level smartphone, with 6.1 “LCD display and design almost equal to that of the iPhone X. But the new iPhone will be the only protagonists of the upcoming event? No! In the rich day off yesterday, in fact, in addition to that of the iPhone XS, the first official image of Apple Watch Series 4 was also leaked.
