The famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has released a new report dedicated to Apple laptops. The entire MacBook line will receive an upgrade in the course of 2017, that will include the arrival of processors Kaby Lake and the possibility to enter up to 32 GB of RAM, but only on some models.
The first to be updated according to Kuo will be the MacBook 12 “, scheduled for the second quarter of this year. A major novelty will be clearly Kaby Lake Processor, recently introduced by Intel at CES 2017. In addition, it will add a new configuration with 16 GB of RAM, which will add to other currently present.
In the third quarter of the year instead it begins production of the new MacBook Pro 13 and 15 inches with Kaby Lake processors. The largest model will have the ability to mount up to 32 GB of RAM, much requested feature by users. The memory will live quality of desktop computers, which will ensure maximum performance.
According to other rumors in recent weeks, the incoming MacBook Pro this year should also be less expensive. After the significant upgrade of 2016, Apple has significantly increased the prices of its handsets, but this year things should now change for the better. Despite this, we do not expect significant price declines, but simply more balanced configuration.
Unfortunately, the analyst has not shared any information on the Apple desktop computers. Many expect it also upgraded the iMac and Mac Pro the now obsolete.
