Thanks to the advanced Face ID technology, the new iPhone X will not allow anyone to see your notifications in the lockscreen . A great way to increase your privacy and protect the contents of your smartphone.

Apple introduced the iPhone X with several interesting news. Undoubtedly, these include the Face ID, the new release system, which replaces the current Touch ID. Thanks to several sensors, the smartphone is able to recognize our face and then decide to unlock, enable Apple Pay or purchases in the App Store. Face ID will also allow you to hide our notifications from the lock screen if we are not looking at the smartphone.

As you can see from the image above, the smartphone will signal that there are notifications on the iPhone but will not reveal the contents of the iPhone. When we look at the smartphone, Face ID will recognize our face, showing us the complete notifications.

This interesting feature must be enabled in your device’s settings by following these simple steps on the iPhone X:

  1. Open the Settings
  2. Go to the Notifications section
  3. Select “Show preview”
  4. Select “When Unlocked”

This way, just as the Face ID recognizes our face will show us notifications, as well as allow us to unlock the smartphone with a swipe up.
