After the first renderings published by OnLeaks, today the well-known leaker Benjamin Geskin has shared through his Twitter account some renderings of iPhone SE 2 realized on the basis of a 3D CAD. And if the next smartphone from Apple was really like that?

For years Benjamin Geskin seems not to miss a shot, revealing devices that have not yet been presented to the public. Whether it has reliable sources or not, Geskin himself has confirmed that the renderings have been made based on CAD projects of the device that would have been leaked in recent weeks.

The new iPhone SE 2 is presented in two variants. The first has an aluminum back, taking up the design of the iPhone 5s and iPhone SE. From this point of view, the innovations are practically absent, the same can not be said of the front. The design is indeed full screen, with an 18: 9 display characterized by the much-criticized “notch” of the iPhone X. As a result, the physical Home button disappears, leaving space to the display. The biometric functions will be entrusted to the Face ID, presented by Apple with iPhone X.

The second variant, however, takes the latest rumors, which speak of a glass back shell. Just the use of glass would support wireless charging, which according to industry experts should not be missing on the second generation iPhone SE. In this case, the smartphone is presented in two colors: gray and black. The design of the front part remains unchanged. The panel should be LCD, and it could be 5 “thanks to the adoption of an iPhone X style design.

The renderings shared by Geskin do not provide further information. More details will emerge in the coming weeks, in fact, according to some rumors Apple should present iPhone SE 2 just in May. It is also difficult to speculate on the price, which could be a little higher than the first generation, considering more expensive components such as the various sensors needed for the TrueDepth Camera.
