According to a Chinese site, Apple will announce the new iPhone SE during WWDC this year. The smartphone, according to the source, as well as having an updated hardware under the body, will have a new 4.2-inch display.

The new iPhone SE should have a processor A10 (the one present in the iPhone 7), 2 GB of RAM and an internal memory of 32 and 128 GB. There will also be the latest version of the Touch ID, but clearly, there will be no Face ID. These technical characteristics have already been disseminated by KGI Securities, so they could actually prove to be true.

In addition to this, however, according to the source, the new iPhone SE will have a 4.2-inch edge-to-edge display. This feature, however, would seem rather ambiguous, because the difference between 4 and 4.2 inches is not noticed so much. We recall that the current iPhone SE model has a 4-inch display just like the iPhone 5, 5s and 5c. With such a change, there would only be a lot of work to optimize the user interface and applications, which would have to adapt to a whole new resolution and dimension.

Then take this rumor with pliers, waiting for some other confirmation maybe directly from the production chain.
