In September 2012 Apple put an end to the sale of iPhone 3GS, but today we learn that a South Korean company has given new life to the device, selling unused units, fully functional, but with non-original packaging. SK Telink will sell iPhone 3GS through the SK7 Seven Mobile online store by the end of the month.

Incredibly advanced compared to the year in which it was presented, iPhone 3GS was Apple’s first smartphone model to allow video recording and support voice commands. The price to buy iPhone 3GS in South Korea is 44,000 won, or about $ 40 and € 35. The device could be taken into consideration in place of other cheaper models with the Android operating system.

Certainly, many users would buy the device for an effective question, certainly not for its technical characteristics. iPhone 3GS, in fact, supports the App Store, but the latest version of the installable operating system is iOS 6. For this reason, all the most used applications (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and so on) could not be installed on the device. In short, a smartphone used for calling, texting and surfing the Internet (but at what speed …).

For the most nostalgic, we leave you with the original iPhone 3GS spot:
