According to a new survey conducted in the United States, many Android users are planning to buy the new iPhone 12.
A new survey conducted in the US by SellCell revealed that many Android users are interested in the iPhone 12 , but not in its features and design.
The site surveyed 2,000 US-based Android users to gauge their loyalty to Google, and unexpectedly 33% of respondents said the iPhone 12 could be their next device.
The new range of iPhone 12 will be equipped with an OLED screen, 5G, triple-lens camera setup, and LiDAR scanner (Pro models only), new design, and will be powered by the A14 Bionic chip. However, the devices will not feature a 120 Hz ProMotion display, which has been present on many Android devices for many years. So why do these users want to buy the new iPhone model?
The answer is iOS . 55.9% of respondents want to buy the new iPhone 12 because Apple, unlike Android, continues to update its devices for several years. For example, iPhone 6s users can install iOS 14 on their device despite it being released 5 years ago, in 2015.
48% of respondents, on the other hand, say they want to buy ‘iPhone 12 for better privacy protection.
In third place we find the compact form factor of the 5.4-inch iPhone 12. In fact, 36.9% of respondents are interested in purchasing this model due to its size.
