It is now a matter of hours to the expected event that Apple will hold this Wednesday – September 12 – at the Steve Jobs Theater. But before the presentation of new products, could not miss the bomb of the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, which anticipates important news on iPad Pro, MacBook, Apple Watch and more.
Kuo, in its probable last note before the event, states that Apple will replace the Lightning port in favor of a USB-C type on the iPad Proof 2018 and that an 18W power supply will be included in the package. However, a doubt arises: can the analyst refer to a USB-C power supply and not to the tablet interface?
In addition to support for Face ID, we expect the new iPad Pro models to replace the Lightning port with a USB-C interface and a new 18W power supply with a unibody design included in the package.
The analyst then adds that the new iPhone will have “still” a Lightning connector and that the package will include a 5W power supply and not the so much 18W vocal with USB-C port.
In his research note, Kuo declares that a new MacBook with a “lower” price will replace the current 12 “MacBook. Even in this case, it remains a doubt: will the new notebook replace the 12 “model or will it be an update? What instead seems certain is that the new MacBook will support the Touch ID as an authentication tool, and will not have instead the Touch Bar, exclusive of the latest models of the Pro series.
There is also news for the already unveiled Apple Watch Series 4. Kuo believes that all the new generation models will have a ceramic back and an ECG / EKG sensor:
The new Apple Watch models will have thinner frames, will support the ECG functions, and will all have a ceramic back. We believe that new Apple Watch will attract more users thanks to the support of the ECG functions.
As for the new iPhone, the analyst says that the production of the much-rumored smartphone with 6.1 “LCD ( which will probably be called iPhone Xr ) will be postponed to the beginning of October, due to problems during the assembly phase.
Finally, in order not to miss anything, Kuo believes that the long-awaited AirPower and the new generation AirPods will arrive on the market by the end of the year.
