Apple has introduced new and useful features to the Reminders app on iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey.
In iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey, Apple is expanding the features built into the Reminders app , which received a major overhaul in 2019.
With the new updates coming this fall, users will be able to create “Smart Lists” based on different filters, such as location, due date, flag, priority and more.
Thanks to the new functionality we will be able to create powerful lists that show reminders based only on different filters. For example, we can create a Smart List by setting a filter that shows us only the reminders scheduled for the weekend, with their location set to “home”. Currently five different filters can be set: Date and Time, Location, Mark, Priority.
- Date : Users can choose to see only reminders due on a specific date, such as over the weekend or more, and reminders due on any date. Furthermore, we can select a filter for any time of day.
- Location : Allows users to view only reminders in a specific location.
- Flag : Show only marked reminders.
- Priority : You can set four different priority levels for reminders, including High, Medium, Low, and Any.
