iOS 15: Introduced support for gameplay capture via controller

Using the appropriate button on the controller, we can now record short clips of our gameplay on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

In  iOS 15 , iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey  we have the ability to capture and save 15 seconds of gameplay at any time.

This new optional feature allows iPhone, iPad and Mac users to capture videos up to 15 seconds  long by simply long-pressing the Share (or Create) button on game controllers, such as the Xbox Series X / S controller or controller PS5 DualSense.

Apple describes the feature as “a fantastic way for players to capture a great boss fight or a great combo move.”

This is just one of the many small but useful new features added in the latest software updates by the Cupertino giant. iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey are now available in beta for developers and will be publicly released in the fall.
