Just over an hour ago, Apple released iOS 14.5 beta 2 for developers, and one of the changes that is sure to attract a lot of attention are the over 200 new emojis .
Reported by Emojipedia , Apple introduced 217 new emojis in iOS 14.5 beta 2. The new emojis come from the Emoji 13.1 specification which was certified in 2020 and will be officially launched this spring.
The new emojis include a headphone redesign that now features the AirPods Max, an updated syringe, and more.
The new update, coming this spring, will be relatively minor, as it only introduces small updates – such as new skin tones – to the emojis introduced on iOS 14.
