Apple is currently conducting tests on a service that allows Siri to transcribe voice messages into text so you can read them rather than hear them.

According to Business Insider , the service will be launched next year, presumably with iOS 10. The voice assistant Apple will behave pretty much like a personal secretary , able to respond to calls when a user can not do it. The content of the call will be communicated to the user via text message, the voice message is then transcribed.

The service will take perhaps the name iCloud voicemail , and will own iCloud to manage the transcript of the messages.
