After a period of roll-out of about a month after the first activation in the US, is now available also in Ghana the possibility to make video calls through Facebook Messenger.
To use the service simply open a conversation with some friends, and use the keys on the top right. You may, separately, choose to make an audio call or a video call Free.
The video calls to Messenger service at first was based on Skype, but now Facebook has developed a proprietary system which comes into direct competition with Microsoft’s platform and that of Apple (FaceTime).
Screen video has exactly the same look of FaceTime. It can be carried out both in 3G and WiFi. The quality of FaceTime is higher in our first test.
