Facebook is about to launch 3 novelties starting from a cloud storage service, passing through vocal statuses and improvements to stories. Proceed with an order.
Next, to iCloud and the new Google One service, there will also be the Facebook Cloud. Still a few details on this, surely there will be a free basis for all users but we do not yet know how many GB will be included in this plan. There should then be other paid plans and prices should be competitive, similar to those of Google One.
Users who take photos or record video directly from the internal camera to the Facebook application will automatically save content in the Cloud, without going to the slightest to affect the physical memory of the device. Excellent function for low-cost devices with little memory. However, you can always choose to delete media from the cloud and save them locally.
The Facebook camera will also be added the ability to record voice messages to be shared as Post Vocal. So in the future, when we open the Facebook app, we can choose to write a text message, or publish a “rich media” update by opening the Facebook camera. Among the media, we will find a further breakdown consisting of Photo, Video or Voice.
The latest news concerns stories. It will be possible to store the stories or to save them and leave them on Facebook in a special section even after 24 hours. A bit like what happens on Instagram with the stories in evidence.
