The iPhone 11 Pro Max ranked third as the best camera phone of 2019, but got the first position for videos in the special DXOMARK ranking.
At the top of the ranking of the best cameras, with an overall score of 121, we find the Huawei Mate 30 Pro and the Xiaomi CC9 Pro Premium Edition which offer ” high-end performance in any mobile photo or video situation “.
In third place we find the iPhone 11 Pro Max , with an overall score of 117 , along with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. Despite the third position, DXOMARK recommends the iPhone 11 Pro Max for those who want to take pictures in any condition.
As for videos, the iPhone 11 Pro Max ranks first with an overall score of 102 along with the Xiaomi CC9 Pro Premium Edition.
Modern smartphones are capable of recording high-quality, high-resolution movies. Apple’s latest smartphone, the iPhone 11 Pro Max, is the best in its class. It is one of the few smartphones capable of recording HDR movies, which results in a very wide dynamic range and with videos that show details of light and shadow even in difficult conditions with high contrast. Furthermore, exposure is generally good under most conditions. The iPhone footage also shows a very nice color rendering, with only some instability of the white balance when recording indoors.
