Apple’s launch of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus was more than just a success. The company broke sales records on the first few days, and even with the supply restraints of the iPhone 6 Plus, the company’s bottom line still broke records as well. It’s already been three months since the launch of these devices in the US, and if you think sales figures have slowed down, think again.
A recent survey conducted to more than a thousand US consumers reveals that people still want to purchase an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. 50% of the people surveyed said they wanted to buy an iPhone, compared to 47% back in September at the time of the launch. Demand for the iPhone 5s actually dropped after the third month last year, so this is a clear indication that Apple did the right thing by increasing the display size of its iPhone lineup.
We’ve heard new rumors that Apple is also considering selling a smaller iPhone in 2015 to cater to the rest of the market in search for better one-handed usability. Let’s see how everything plays in the end.
