A designer imagines what the Apple Watch Series 7 with flat edges might look like.
After the iPad Pro 2018, Apple introduced the new iPhone 12 models with flat edges reminiscent of its classic products, such as the first generation iPad and iPhone 5. But what about the Apple Watch? Although there is no evidence that Apple will redesign its smartwatch, designer Wilson Nicklaus has created a concept in which it shows a new Apple Watch with flat edges .
Nicklaus has created some rendered images that show what a flat-edged Apple Watch Series 7 might look like, just like the latest iPhone and iPad models. The concept does not involve changes to the display or size of the device, focusing only on its metal case.
Based on the images, which show a stainless steel version of the Apple Watch, the new flat-edged design looks extremely similar to the design of the iPhone 12 Pro, which is made of glass and stainless steel.
Apple is known for making its products with a consistent design, so it won’t be a surprise if the company actually introduces an Apple Watch similar to the one shown in the concept. The iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPhone 12 share some design details with each other, not to mention the Pro Display XDR and the MacBook Pro.
