Find out what to do if the Apple Watch Series 5 or Apple Watch SE does not charge after activating Low Power mode.

Yesterday, Apple released  watchOS 7.3.1 with a fix for an issue that prevented some Apple Watch Series 5 and SE from charging after enabling “Low Power” mode. In addition to the new update, the company has released a new support document  with further details on this bug.

According to reports from the iPhone manufacturer, a small number of customers with Apple Watch Series 5 or Apple Watch SE models with watchOS 7.2 or 7.3 have encountered an issue with their watch not charging when it enters Low Power mode.

What to check if our Apple Watch has this problem

To check if our smartwatch has this problem, place it on the charger normally used and wait at least 30 minutes.

If your Apple Watch still won’t charge, we’ll  contact Apple Support  to book a repair. Our device will be examined prior to service to verify that it is eligible for free repair.
