Apple has just released the definitive version  of MacOS High Sierra  10.13 (17A365). This is the final version, downloadable directly from the Mac App Store, in the “Updates” section

MacOS High Sierra is the first desktop operating system based on the Apple File System . The current file system has been designed with the first Macs and has always been great, but today’s computer flash technology opens up new horizons of innovation. It is time to lay a new foundation for the future: with MacOS High Sierra, every Mac that comes with flash storage comes from the Apple File System, which thanks to an evolved architecture ensures a new level of responsiveness and security.

High Sierra also supports the new HEVC and HEIF codecs with which all iOS 11-based devices will take photos or record video without losing quality and occupying less disk space.

We also find support for Metal 2 , the new generation of graphics engine, support for Virtual Reality and native app news, Finder, Sidebar, Live Photos, Safari with anti-tracking ads and much more.
