It’s time for new firmware: are you ready to update your devices?
Apple has just released the final and definitive version of iOS 15.3, available for all iPhone and iPad users.
We are finally out of the beta, which was released last week, and so now this firmware can be installed by everyone.
iOS 15.3 – What’s New?
iOS 15.3 improves performance, fixes several bugs and improves security. In parallel, iPadOS 15.3 is also available to all users, as is watchOS 8.4.
iOS 15.3 has put aside the new features to focus on bug fixes and several “behind the scenes” improvements. One of the biggest changes concerns the fix of a Safari vulnerability that could have compromised your browsing history and your Google IDs.
A quick update to iOS 15.3 is therefore recommended to be more protected against online scams and data leaks from your history.
With the release of iOS 15.3 for all, we are expecting the arrival of iOS 15.4 beta in the next few hours or days. This firmware could be full of news and we will obviously be here ready to list them all.
Regarding WatchOS 8.4 instead, a problem is solved that did not allow some chargers to recharge the watch correctly.
How to update your devices
As always there are two ways to upgrade. Open the Settings application> General> Software Update for an update via OTA. Alternatively, if you want to use your computer, you can download the firmware from this article and proceed with the manual installation via iTunes or the Finder if you are on a recent version of macOS.
