The new iMac is among the protagonists of the April 2021 Spring Loaded event. Available from the second half of May in seven different colors and with the M1 chip under the body. And the design, with only 11.5 thickness , is all new.
Design

1080p FaceTime HD camera
It’s the best camera a Mac has ever had. The ISP processor in the M1 chip improves image quality thanks to computational video . Microphones and speakers
When you chat over a video call or record a song or podcast, the iMac makes sure your voice always comes loud and clear. The professional-quality three-microphone array is designed to reduce feedback, so conversation flows more naturally and interrupts each other less. And thanks to beamforming, the microphones ignore background noise, so the listener will hear the words, but not what is happening around the speaker.
The iMac audio system spreads sound into every space creating an incredibly enveloping experience . Two pairs of force-canceling woofers create rich, deep bass without unwanted vibrations. And each pair is balanced with a high-performance tweeter. The result? An impressive and detailed soundstage that adds a new dimension to movies, games and music.
Thanks to redesigned speakers and a host of advanced algorithms, iMac now supports spatial audio when watching video in Dolby Atmos . Together with the Retina 4.5K display, it will be like having a cinema in your home.
New accessories
The new iMac is accompanied by a color-coordinated keyboard, mouse and trackpad . On the Magic Keyboard there are now Spotlight, Dictation, Do Not Disturb and Emoji keys . And for the first time, Touch ID is also coming to iMac : so you can easily and securely unlock your computer, use Apple Pay and download apps with just the tip of your finger.

The new 24 ″ iMac with M1 chip can be ordered from April 30th and will be available in the second half of May.
