Apple has launched a new embedded web player for its podcasts, offering creators, marketers and listeners new options for sharing and playing podcast content.
Apple today unveiled a new marketing tool for podcasters. Through the Podcast Marketing Tools website , podcasters can now create new embeddable web players for their shows and individual episodes.
As TechCrunch points out , this tool will allow creators, marketers, and podcast enthusiasts to create embed codes for any podcast available on the Apple service.
Each built-in player is responsive and will adapt to various interfaces on macOS, iOS, or other operating systems. They also feature the full suite of playback controls and show notes.
The web player is customizable and includes the most recent episodes of a single podcast. It’s also interactive , allowing listeners to play an entire episode without switching to another app or web page. Users can also use the web player to open the Apple Podcast app so they can learn more about a show or add it to their subscriptions.
You can also generate embed codes via the Share icon on the Preview page for a show or a single episode.
