Apple has patented a new system that would allow the acquisition of images in very high resolution, while retaining the small size of the camera. Lets find out in detail what it is.

The registered patent speaks of a multi-sensor camera, which would use the split light into three primary RGB components to recreate an image in very high resolution. The whole work in a mechanical way by means of the cubic form of prisms. The components of light obtained should then recombined using a special software, which would allow you to store the image in RAW format in very high resolution.

This patent could be exploited for the realization of smaller cameras to reduce the space used inside the body of the devices and eliminate the annoying protruding edges.
