From the latest benchmarks, the new Apple Silicon M1 processors destroy AMD and Intel, ranking second in the ranking of the most powerful processors on the market.

In the new benchmarks published by PassMark , the new M1 chips have achieved great results. Out of nowhere they suddenly placed themselves in second position in the ranking of the most powerful processors on the market!

This is why the M1s are so dangerous for Intel , as they can outperform the Core i7-11700K and even the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X at a lower price. In one fell swoop, Apple not only left Intel but also put it up against a very strong competitor!

The new Apple processors are second only to the Intel Core i9-11900K but one of these brand new Rocket Lake costs a whopping $ 539 (alone) while a Mac Mini M1 (which is a finished computer), including 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs $ 699 in total.

The Apple processor therefore has a much lower cost and achieves impressive results. If we also consider that it is the first version, then we immediately understand that there is room for improvement and in no case will it reach the cost of Intel. This comparison takes on even more value when we consider that the results in single-core and single-thread performance have always been a strong point of Intel CPUs.

Recall that an iMac with an Apple Silicon processor will soon be released and the second generation of ARM chip, even more powerful, could also be mounted on this computer, such as to justify the removal of the iMac Pro from the market.
