Apple has registered domains on the new car sector 

Apple is very interested in the world of cars, and this is evidenced by the registration of three new domains , namely apple.car, apple.cars and apple.auto. The Cupertino company has registered domains, which are not yet active, through MarkMonitor Inc. in December of 2015.
The domains may also relate CarPlay, but it’s hard not to think of what today is called Project Titan, or the development of an Apple Car . Most times it is in fact about a secret team that is working for an electric vehicle to be launched on the market in 2019-2020.
  
Apple has hired several engineers from Tesla, Ford, GM, Samsung, A123 Systems, Nvidia and others to work on Project Titan. The company Mission Motors has even gone out of business after losing many employees then passed to Apple.
