A battery for the Apple Silicon MacBook Air with model number A2389 has received certification in South Korea.
A few days ago, we told you that Apple has certified a battery for an unreleased model of MacBook. Probably, this will be destined for the Apple Silicon MacBook Air model that will be released later this year and, today, the same battery has also been certified in South Korea.
Battery specifications are the same as those registered in China and Denmark. Documents indicate that it is a 49.9 watt-hour battery and will have a capacity of 4,380 mAh, exactly the same as what we find on the current model of Air.
Apple Silicon Macs are expected to be much more energy efficient than Intel Macs. If these regulatory records were related to an ARM Mac, battery life would likely be much longer than current models given Apple Silicon’s improved efficiency .
We don’t know when Apple will launch a new MacBook Air, but this type of storage usually anticipates the launch of new products. Numerous rumors have suggested that the Air will be one of the first Apple Silicon Macs and that the new machine may arrive before the end of 2020.
