Clips is the new Apple application that lets you record videos to quickly share on social networks. The app allows you to quickly add phrases, clip art and so on to make the most dynamic and modern video. The application is now available for free in the App Store!
Apple today updated its online store presenting new devices; the iPad with 9.7″ display and iPhone 7 variant (Product) RED, and updating others. The surprises did not end there, in fact the Cupertino giant has announced the arrival of Clips; a new application that will allow you to record videos to share quickly on social networks.
As stated on Apple’s official website, “Clips is the new iOS app to create videos to post on the fly. With lots of titles, graphics and special effects.” The California company has decided to jump back into the world of social networks (after the failure of Ping, editor’s note) with an easy to use way to quickly share content.
Clips let you record video at the moment or create a new one by selecting pictures and video from your library. The application interface remains as the system Camera app, which is already known to iOS users.
Clips has a very interesting feature, that is; the software is able to recognize the faces of people who appear in the recorded video, suggesting users to share content with. Last but not least is a button to share videos on the most used platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Clips will be available free on the App Store from April and is compatible with iPhone 5s and later models, the new iPad 9.7″, all models of iPad Air and iPad Pro, iPad mini 2 and later and iPod touch (sixth generation). The devices must have iOS 10.3 installed
