A new report reveals that Apple intends to increase production of the iPhone 13 range in the first half of 2022 and to exceed 300 million iPhones sold by the end of the year.

According to a new report from DigiTimes , Apple will increase iPhone shipments by 30% for the first half of next year with a goal of surpassing the monstrous figure of 300 million shipments in 2022.

The report, which cites sources close to the Cupertino giant’s suppliers, says Apple hopes to hit its target of shipping 300 million iPhones in 2022 . Shipments for the first half of the year for the iPhone 13 range, therefore, are expected to increase by 30% , but shipments will also be affected by the iPhone 14 range arriving next fall.

Earlier this month Bloomberg reported that Apple was informing its suppliers to cut iPhone production due to falling demand , but the new report reveals that demand for the new devices is still high.

The $ 300 million target could suggest that Apple has high expectations for the iPhone 14 lineup.
