Just five years after the company’s arrival, Angela Ahrendts , Apple Retail Senior Vice President, will leave Apple . In his place Deirdre O’Brien , a manager with 30 years of experience in Apple.

Speaking of Ahrendts, Cook thanked the executive for being ” a positive and transformative force ” for the Apple Stores and their surrounding communities.

“I think there is no better time to pass the baton to Deirdre, one of the strongest leaders , said Ahrendts.

“The last five years have been very stimulating, challenging and rewarding for my career,”said Angela Ahrendts. ” Thanks to the collective efforts of the teams, retail stores have never been so strong, better positioned and able to make an even greater contribution to Apple” 

On October 15, 2013 it was announced that the Ahrendts would leave Burberry to enter Apple Inc. as a vice president of the online and retail sales section on 1 May 2014. In Apple, it has integrated physical store activities and online sales creating businesses that annually involve millions of customers (Apple currently operates with 35 online stores and 506 retail stores across five continents, with a staff of several dedicated teams at various levels of customers).
