Amazon has just launched a new set of accessories in the US connected to a service called Amazon Key. Basically it is a security camera that supports Alexa and Cloud, and a number of smart padlocks.
When a parcel arrives, the courier can unlock the front door and deposit the parcel inside the home. From the application we will be able to control the door but also to see the real-time delivery video.
Amazon Key also becomes a service usable by other applications, through which we will selectively access our home to certain people. This video perfectly explains what is written in the article:
