According to CNET,  Amazon and Apple have finally reached an agreement that will allow the e-commerce giant to directly sell a wide range of devices of the Californian company in Italy but also in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Japan, and India.

So, in the not too distant future, Amazon will offer its customers the latest Apple devices, including the new iPad Pro, iPhone XR, iPhone XS and XS Max, Apple Watch Series 4 and a selection of Beats headphones. The products will be available through authorized Apple resellers on the Amazon marketplace.

Some Apple products will not be included on the Amazon site, such as HomePod, which competes directly with Amazon’s Echo intelligent speaker line.

In a statement released to CNET, Amazon said it wanted to sell Apple products because it always aims to improve the customer experience.

Amazon is constantly working to improve the customer experience, and one of the ways we do it is to increase the selection of products that we know customers want. We look forward to expanding our range of Apple and Beats products globally.

Currently, many Apple products are not available on the Amazon site or are sold through third-party marketplaces, sometimes unreliable and at non-standard prices. With the new agreement, Apple products will be available at regular retail prices.

The independent vendors who today offer new and used Apple products on Amazon will see them disappear after January 4, 2019, according to the agreements made between the two companies. To continue selling the Californian company’s devices, these sellers will have to apply to become Apple’s authorized resellers on Amazon.
