Apple has launched a new repair program for iPhone 6s and 6s Plus that may not turn on due to a faulty component. The affected devices were sold between October 2018 and August 2019 and users can check their serial numbers on the Apple support site to see if their devices are part of the affected lots.

The repair program “covers the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices affected for 2 years after the unit’s first retail sale”, which means that the owners will be covered until August 2021, depending on the date of purchase .
