There are already several rumors that claim the arrival of OLED displays for Apple devices in 2017. The Cupertino company, however, could “jump” this type of display and propose new Quantum Dot LED screens.
We are talking about a recent patent filed by Apple, in which we find many details on the OLED display.This is a rather advanced technology, which allows to consume about 50% less with the particular advantages for use on flexible displays. Recall that the quality of the OLED display is much higher than LCD currently used by Apple.
Most likely, however, we’ll have to wait a year to see the actual display of the switch, in fact, the rumor mill for 2016 support the presence of an LCD display all Apple devices, like the new iPhone and iPad.
