The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be Samsung’s first smartphone to support stereo audio and Emoji 3D, according to ETNews. According to the report, the South Korean company’s 3D Emoji are more advanced than the Animoji that Apple introduced with iPhone X, but very similar in operation (ie a virtual 3D face that tracks and repeats the movements of the face of the user).
The introduction by Samsung of a feature like this is not surprising that considering the already presented new chip Exynos, which guarantees better tracking of the face. In addition, Samsung is not the only company that has looked at the Apple for this news, in fact, even Honor has its “animoji”.
Another new feature of the smartphone is the stereo speakers, positioned at the top and bottom of the device. According to a report by SamMobile, Samsung will rely on AKG for this important update, which it owns.
Samsung will present the new Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus on February 25th at the UNPACKED event of the MWC in Barcelona.
