The spread of smartphones is ever increasing, the culture of the entire world population has changed and now even the kids are entertained and get their first smartphone in pre-adolescent age. Constant use of the smartphone does not stop even driving, and the number of accidents due to mobile phones has increased by 14.4% over the past two years
There are 37,461 deaths recorded following road accidents in 2015 in America. Depending on the records and the reconstruction of the incident, the smartphone is one of the major causes, above alcohol and excess speed (also growing).
On a sample of 3 million drivers , according to Zendrive, 88% are usually using the smartphone in the car . With iOS 11 Apple has introduced the ” Do not Disturb Guide ” mode, but the function alone will not do much if it does not change people’s mentality before.
