A Dutch blog today published new photos concerning the next generation of iPhone 7, adding three models that could form the future series, 7 iPhone, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro.
The images were originally posted on Chinese social network Weibo from an unknown source, so there is no official status and must be treated with all the benefits of the doubt.
After a long silence about the version iPhone Pro, the image shows the device as a third option for the series, alongside the 4.7 “model, and 5.5”.
According to what is circulating in the network, the Pro version may be the only one with a capacity of 256 GB and present smart connector with a possible increase in camera resolution and, much less likely, a display with OLED technology.
On the back of this alleged third version it would be shown the S as the actual device on the market and this raises doubts about the veracity of the information. Otherwise it could be understood as a marketing strategy in order to present in 2017, the tenth anniversary of the iPhone, the iPhone 8 without using the -S acronym for a revised and enhanced product.
