According to what was declared by Ming-Chi Kuo in his latest note, 2022 will be the year of the new generation of the laptop.
Apple will kick off mass production of the much-rumored new MacBook Air in the third quarter of next year. To reveal it is one of the most reliable sources on everything related to the Apple universe, namely the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
The next laptop of the Air line – again according to Kuo – will have a completely renewed design , with a mini-LED displayand a new generation Apple Silicon processor. Instead, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman went more specifically, according to which the device will be thinner and lighter , will have 4 USB ports and the MagSafe connector for charging.
The well-known leaker Jon Prosser also had his say on the new MacBook Air , who shared some renderings this summer based on the information known to him. Among other things, it is assumed the availability in more colors , such as the latest 24-inch iMac.
The latest update of the MacBook Air dates back to last November, with M1 processor but unchanged design.
