The analyst Ming-Chi Kuo states that Apple will launch a new iPad Pro and the iPhone SE 2 in the first half of 2020.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to release new models of iPad Pro with 3D rear detection in the first half of 2020.

In a research note with TF International Securities, seen by MacRumors , Kuo stated that the new iPad Pro models will acquire 3D detection through the rear camera system . Apple is expected to use a flight time system , which measures the time it takes for light to bounce off objects in a room to generate a 3D map.

The calendar aligns with a recent report by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, who also claimed that Apple plans to release models of iPad Pro with 3D back detection already in the first half of 2020.

Gurman predicts that iPad Pro models will feature two rear cameras , a single lens and a new augmented reality sensor .

Kuo also reiterated that Apple also plans to release the iPhone SE 2  in the first half of 2020. It has already stated that the device will be released by the end of the first quarter with features similar to those of the iPhone 8, including a display from 4.7 inches and Touch ID , but with a faster A13 chip and 3 GB of RAM.

The inexpensive iPhone will have a base price of around $ 399 with 64 GB of storage space and will come in sidereal gray, silver and red, according to Kuo.

Apple often holds a multimedia event in March, and it is certainly possible that the new iPad Pro and iPhone SE2 can be announced during that event.
